Content We Liked: 4th June, 2023

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

We love a base that has had as much, if not more effort put into it than the model it’s holding up and this one has it all. UV Resin pours! Mixed media! Like three different kinds of fake plants! A Linkin Park backing track! Gotta love it.

Honestly surprises us that we don’t see more Sylvaneth kits used as the basis for Exodite conversions. I mean don’t get us wrong, dino-riding Elves are cool as hell, but why not throw some spirit-stone possessed trees in there, or some giant bug riding Jetbikers? These Kurnoth Hunters-turned Wraithguard certainly make a fantastic case for the former.

Speaking of cross-game conversions, y’gotta love how the Nighthaunt range keeps on being the basis for some of the coolest, creepiest Mechanicus weirdos. Like these incredibly unnerving proxy Flamers, a match forged in the deepest Hellforge.

“Expert (x) Reacts!” videos are a dime a dozen on Youtube but we wanted to highlight this one not just because it’s Warhams related, but because it’s just a damn good piece of edutainment, with armour expert Toby putting some real solid analysis into the various armours of 40k and Fantasy.
